Beauty Beyond the Curtains

This project was inspired by the transition of mind and body. The racial events that occurred during 2020 made me realized the state of perception the public has of Black people. Our publicized and televised trauma has clouded many people’s perceptions of our reality. The reality is that as we persevere, our beauty and power stays eternal.

I want to show this Beauty and Power. Instead of being defined by our circumstances; we can stay in control and keep our power. This is why we’re BEAUTIFUL.
