Divine Trinity
“Divine Trinity” is a trifecta of acrylic paintings on wood panels that depict the three aspects of our inner beings. I’ve been researching and studying the concepts of masculinity, femininity and the balance between the two. We all have both aspects of masculinity and femininity but in order to truly understand ourselves and each other, we have to find the balance between the two.
Divine Masculinity is the state of being that’s most acclimated towards the physical and material plane of existence. This means that anyone who is truly in their masculine will likely want to change the world into their image because they see the chaos of nature. Masculinity is also association with order and in extreme cases, tyranny.
Divine Femininity is the state of being that’s most acclimated for the metaphysical world where intuition thrives, and where our souls are nurtured. The Feminine introspection also us to look beyond our surface level perceptions of our life and purpose. In order to become in tune with our Divine Feminine, we most delve deep into out subconscious. Femininity is often associated with chaos due to the inherent chaos of mother nature but also the beautiful chaos of creation and destruction. The flow state is often associated with femininity.
Divine Balance is the ideal state of mind and being. The ability to acclimate to both the physical and metaphysical means that you are both conscious of the existence of your mortal and immortal selves. You realize that at this point of being, the “contradictions” are both true. Order and Chaos have an eternal dance where each takes the lead. Their constant dance is what maintains the cycle of life; this includes creation and destruction. When we apply these philosophies to our life, we can realize that true power comes from balance. Knowledge of ourselves will open the doors to knowledge of the metaphysical world. Furthermore, acknowledging the limited physical time we have on this earth should push us to appreciate the moments we have with each other.
